The first timepiece to feature mechanical and liquid time indications will be unveiled at BaselWorld this spring by HYT- the Hydro Mechanical Horologists.
With 65 hours of power reserve, the high tech watch movement boasts a liquid module thanks to two pistons moving the liquid in the tube. The actual piece is not yet created, but the vision of this timepiece has the watch world buzzing.
Created by Vincent Perriard of TechnoMarine and Bruno Moutarlier, the former Industrial Director of Audemars Piguet, the watch would retail for around $45,000 once it is released.
